Through the partnership of Young Men Christian Association (YMCA) Shauri Moyo Branch, Society for Refugees and Youth in Africa (SoRYAfrica) conducted a tree planting exercise at YMCA, Shauri Moyo and a community school where we planted 1500 (one thousand and five hundred trees) trees.
The trees planted included different types of fruit species of mangoes, avocados, guavas, papaws, lemon and passion.
The aim of the activity was to facilitate environmental conservation by engaging the community to participate in tree planting exercise and fight against hunger come 2030 by planting more community fruits.
SoRY Africa does it again!
